Opening the Way in Prayer

Praise God with us for opening the way to initiate yet another new church planting movement recently. Please do pray for these new leaders, that they will really understand the urgency to plant churches! Please also pray for another group in a different area who completed the Harvesters Bible School Phase D (Old Testament Survey) training – pray for them for perseverance on their church planting journey.

Praise God with us for two Kick Off sessions that was held from 30 April through 7 May and for the new Hub leaders that signed up for the task of planting churches and discipling the flock. Pray for them!

This past week we were able to finish a Kick-off (initiating a new church planting movement) in Russia and by God’s grace it went very well. We had 54 pastors and leaders together. Many of the pastors shared that the training ignited such a fire in them, almost a jealousy for God’s kingdom to advance! They have such big vision now and strategy for church planting! We thank the Lord for what He is doing! Thank you so very much to everyone who are praying for us.

During last month we had the opportunity to present Harvesters’ Disciple Makers journey at two churches in the USA (in Atlanta as well as Vermont). Please pray for all who attended to remember what they heard from God. Pray for boldness to witness, and that these communities will continue to be transformed for the glory of God and for the salvation of many.

Please continue to pray for the churches in the Amazon as we experienced a huge outpouring of God’s Spirit with 600 baptisms and people running towards God’s salvation in recent days.

Please continue to pray with us for God’s grace and provision to reach our goal to plant 1 million churches and to train 1 million pastors and evangelise and disciple 100 million believers by 2030. All for God’s glory!

Church planting taking off in Gauteng! A new church planting movement (or Stream) was initiated early in March. Pray that God will use this church planting Stream to flood the whole province with His Good News.

We are humbled and grateful for a wonderful Disciple Makers journey that took place last weekend in Welkom, Freestate. Around 100 people signed up for this journey and many pledged to help open the way by continuing to apply the disciple makers principles in their spheres of influence. All glory to God! Please continue to pray for this movement. “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” 1 Cor. 3:6-7.

We praise God for the privilege that we could start new church planting streams in South Asia during this month. We have such great expectations for the things to come! Please keep the people of this beautiful part of the world in your prayers.

Praise God with us for the opportunity to train indigenous leaders in Midland earlier this month. Pray for the attendees to embrace God’s calling and for the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen them as they disciple and train their communities to follow Jesus themselves and also to make more disciples.
