Opening the Way in Prayer

Please pray for our next training in Peten, Northern Guatemala. God willing we will have Phase B pastor training from December 1 to 7. We will have two streams (in Poptun and Santa Elena). Pray that God gives the pastors the desire to attend the training. May God protect our trip and use those of us who will be training. May the Holy Spirit give all the pastors the passion and commitment to continue evangelizing, discipling, and planting churches.

Praise God for the opportunity to visit new areas this month to do search out devoted pastors to embrace Harvesters’ vision to plant multiplying churches. Please continue to pray that the right people will heed God’s call to become involved and that they will respond. There is still a great need to plant many more churches in Lesotho – pray that God will open the way.

Please lift up in prayer Ethiopia and the training efforts taking place – some in sensitive areas. Pray that the God will grant wisdom, protection, and strength all to those involved. Pray that God’s presence will continue to guide the trainers and trainees and bring transformation in these communities.

A very beautiful day in Siaya. We thank God for a successful graduation in Kenya, Siaya Stream. 100 pastors attended their graduation ceremony today and committed themselves to continue planting churches – what a great encouragement! Some hubs will be opening soon in this Stream. Praise God! This week we’ll be having another graduation in Busia and on Saturday another one in Bungoma Stream. Please keep praying for us.

Please pray for our team as they meet with several churches in the UK this week to discuss the implementation of Harvesters’ Disciple Makers vision. Pray that potential partners may see and embrace this vision and that they will be moved by the Holy Spirit to become involved in this important work. Pray for wisdom, unity, and passion for everyone involved, and that His will be done through these efforts to plant small groups and churches throughout many communities.

Praise God with us for the opportunity to be part of the National Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park, Esher today and tomorrow. Please continue to pray for vision and wisdom, and that the meaningful connections that are fostered during this time will continue to further His Truth in the United Kingdom and beyond.

Praise God with us for the opportunity to meet with partners in Naples, a city with over 2 Million people and a great need for true Christians and committed churches. We had our first session last night and got in contact with a community of pastors and leaders. As we continue to navigate the problems of the church and the solutions, based on the Scripture, we ask that you would keep praying for open hearts and a revival in Europe.

Last week in Guatemala City we finished the training of 41 pastors in Phase E (New Testament Survey) of the Harvesters Bible School Curriculum. It was a great blessing to work through the material and to see the pastors challenged by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to continue evangelizing, discipling and planting churches. Thank you for continuing to pray for us. May His Kingdom come and His will be done in Guatemala City.

3 October: In less than 1 hour, attendees of the training in Lamada, Simiyu region, have reached out to 276 people and 104 souls have been won to Christ. Praise God for the harvest! Please pray for the follow up and discipleship process by local pastors.

Malawi, often referred to as the ‘warm heart of Africa,’ is home to thousands of our brothers and sisters who eagerly seek the Word of God. In partnership with Biblica, our teams are travelling to deliver around 10,000 Chichewa Bibles to hundreds of churches in this country.
